DESCRIPTION: Fluid Thioglycollate Medium
APPLICATlON: Used for the cultivation of aerobic, microaerophilic, and anaerobic bacteria. It is also used for sterility testing of pharmaceutical and biological products, as well as for the anaerobic cultivation of Clostridium perfringens in food.

| APPLICATION | Used for the cultivation of aerobic, microaerophilic, and anaerobic bacteria. It is also used for sterility testing of pharmaceutical and biological products, as well as for the anaerobic cultivation of Clostridium perfringens in food. | |
| PREPARATION | 1. Weigh 29.3 g of the medium and add 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Stir and heat until boiling to ensure complete dissolution. | |
| 2.Dispense the solution into test tubes and autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. | ||
| 3. Before use, if the pink coloration exceeds one-third of the medium height, heat the medium in a water bath until it becomes colorless. Cool to below 45°C and immediately inoculate with the sample.If the entire tube turns pink, the medium should not be used. | ||
